Garden Photos Event
I am going to try sending some garden pics. Well, you managed it, Dinahmow. On the day, if my memory marbles have not rolled away, I'll try to put more on my blog! And you managed that, too! But huge thanks, in advance, for hosting the garden party. Ooh! Did I say "party"? I wonder if there will be crocque em bouche and Black Forest? She's thinking of this.
These are in the garden at the "old house" and I think they count as it was only a couple of months ago!
Yesterday (17th October), my former next door neighbour was working in her garden so I ambled over the road and had scrounge! The dark red oleander that I planted years ago now towers over the fence and rather a lot of it is on her side. So she handed me her secateurs and I cut an armful for cuttings. And she took some as well for her m-i-l who lives two houses up.
But wait! There's more... one of the Strelitzia nicolai is almost pushing the fence down, so we "pruned" that, too! Isn't it a gorgeous blue!
Thank you, Dinahmow, for that taste of the tropical! And I hope the Weed Police didn't catch up with you?
In a couple of days time it will be Ms Scarlet's turn - and this time she won't be sharing with anyone else!
