A Cloudy Horizon

After returning from work on Tuesday, a vexing evening was had dealing with administrative matters instigated by The Father on my behalf without my knowledge!  A smidgen of joy was squeezed out of the whole situation when I launched into my "Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary" act, causing The Father to huff and puff a lot, as well as swear under his breath.  Result!
Anyway, once the minor dramatics were over, I flounced* off down to the beach to relax and take some photos of the sunset.  Except I was thwarted due to the clouds congregating on the horizon...

As the storm clouds rolled in yesterday evening, we didn't get to see the Blood Moon or Mars, so this will have to do

The Triffids are looking a bit parched

* OK. So they were nearly over with.

  1. What beautiful colors! Shame you don't like the beach more. I bet you would be there all the time.

    1. I only post these photos so people can see the horrors I have to put up with...

    1. Those Triffids are bigger drama queens than I am! No Shakespeare play (or teen-angst TV show) should be without one!

  3. Surely the cloudiness was caused by your huff?

    1. If it was, it was summoned by one of the SubConsciousnesseses (sorry, I didn't know when to stop spelling). A weather witch I am not, much to my exasperation, although I can manage the lightest of zephyrs when needs must.

  4. Gorgeous sunset! Love the pink, creamy clouds and the warm golden light. Even the sea looks calm and serene. Hello, Vos Gorgeous!

That Hunter's Moon looks extraordinary and enchanting!

Here, the Natives do a dance that summons the rain. I encourage them Not to do so during the summer, as that is peak hurricane season...

But perhaps the Sheringham and Cromer Choral Society can do a rendition of I miss the rains down in Anglia.

    1. Ha haa! I think Toto have already given the SaCCS their blessing because it has been raining most of the day here (not very heavily, though).

Mind your flirting with the Gorgeous seamen - they're mine!
