Panoramic Triffidery...

...and not a Foo-Foo Valve* in sight, thankfully!

Cromer Lighthouse, 6th July

And I hadn't even had a gin or twelve!

Again, no gins, just trying something.

Now, are these aircraft contrails, or are they Triffid spore meteorites?

Yikes! Those must have been Triffid spore meteorites!

Triffidery on the move!
(Is it just me, or do these foxgloves not look very sinister as they move through the bracken?)

Cromer town - blissfully unaware of its impending Triffidy doom

"Uh, oh..."

"I'm out of here!"

This will be the last photoblog post for a little while, as I think I've now caught up with the end of June/beginning of July's "We know what takes up your time!". There are some garden photos that I've yet to post, but I'm going to save those until The Very Mistress's Garden Photos Event. Probably...

 * Thank you, Dinahmow. I think...

  2. Hahaha! Great start to my morning. But those foxgloves? Do you think they might have been *digitalisly* enhanced?

No. We haven't got the budget for CGI. It's stop-motion plasticine models, and people in shabbily made rubber suits all the way!

  3. Do they want a lighthouse keeper?

    1. Sadly, no. Someone lives in the main part of the lighthouse, and I think the actual light is managed by a computer or robot or something. Although I expect they'll need someone to change the lightbulb now and again...

  4. Were you flying over Cromer on Broom?

    1. Only for the panoramic views.

Which would explain why they're all on the wonk!

  5. What fantastic fotos of the skies! If I enlarge the panoramic ones, it feels like I'm laying on my back looking up at the clouds in the skies. Awesome! The large lighthouse one with the huge skies feels like I'm looking up at a glorious painted cathedral ceiling. Very grand!

The woods look very mystical. The flowers look lively! What a fantastic sea view from Smallhopes Hill. The butterfly looks gorgeous! It's all so pastoral & pleasant & charming...though, I'm wary of the bird. It look awfully shifty, like it's up to no good.

    1. Thanks, Eros.

And, yes, as pleasant and charming as it is around here, someone (or something) always has to spoil it. And, more often than not, it's those dratted birds! I have a feeling that Beaky is their ringleader.

  6. Tsk. I am just jealous of the weather in the East. We have been struggling in the West with a week of unseasonal Autumn mizzle.... but it has finally brightened up.

    1. Hopefully next week will be better for you? We had a day or two of lowish temperatures and a bit of rain, but it's back to normal here now, too.

Tickle my fancy, why don't you?
