    2. Thank you, Mago. Once a great while I manage to have an idea that is not just a flight of fancy.

And, splendid, Dinah. I'm looking forward to seeing your take - and anyone else's who takes part.

    1. Why, thank you, Jon. For this edition I'd intended to have a May theme (even though I originally said that 4 Photos doesn't need any themes) and looked back at various years' May photos, but kept seeing others that caught my eye.

    1. I won't bother trying to get past you while smuggling gin in my underpants, then.

      Oh, hang on...

    1. That nova Scotia supernova everyone was speaking about - really MsScarlet, your memory ...

    2. I was about to take my readers off to wipe them, it really is radiant. I would like to know what the 2nd photograph is, fungal spores?

    3. It seems supernovas aren't big enough bangs to register on Ms Scarlet's scale, Mago. Perhaps only the end of the Universe will do it?

Ms Scarlet and Mitzi, Mago is barking up the right tree, of course. The second photo is one I found in the folder for my Star Trek Treasure Map art challenge. It's an out-of-focus snap of light shining through the pin-prick holes in the map that I neglected to delete. The "from six years ago" even links to the map post.
