Not Quite Majorca

I had a little stroll down along the promenade after tea - just to get some air and stretch my legs, as tomorrow's weather forecast is not conducive to going outside (unless I get up very early in the morning), so there'll be little in the way of leg-stretching then.
I haven't got a lot to show for it*, you may be relieved to hear  - Cromer Pier in the distance, a young(ish) cormorant, and a bunny!  Plus there's music at the end.

Norman and Norma got married in Cromer and caught double pneumonia.
 Quelle surprise...

 * Not even worth putting a page break in.

  1. Only a British person could ever attempt to rhyme "Seltzer(?) classes" with "Tomatoes". Love the pictures! Our rabbits look the same. Not many cormorants where I live but I'm a bit further inland.

    1. Twenty years on and the children have gone
And they're both at a bit of a loss
They've tried salsa classes and growing tomatoes
But nothing is getting them off

    2. I'm always surprised when I see cormorants inland as I associate them with the sea right here. I've seen a couple in Norwich (our county city) which is about 25 miles in.

    1. It sounds quite picturesque, but due to all the rain, the prom was covered in muddy run-off from the cliffs (and stinky seaweed that the high tide and waves had thrown up).

  5. Glad you managed to get out for a troll around the old groins of Cromer even if as in the words of the song 'It could have been warmer'.

Fab photos and I love 'The Divine Comedy' too

    1. Some of the groynes are so old, and have had so much action, that they're little more than stumps now!
And, yes, warmer would be nice.

  6. It is definitely a staying indoors day today with the only leg stretching to be done in front of the TV.
    Glorious pics, as per!
Feel grateful that I didn't take any pictures of the bunny I saw in my lanes - it may have been minus a body.

    1. Ah, perhaps on a dark evening, one might catch a glimpse of the headless ghost of a Devon bunny plying the lanes?

  7. I concede the climatic conditions are not completely conducive to contemplating cosy charismatic country cottages and cormorants.

    1. You are quite correct*

      * I was going to go with "certainly correct" but it sounds wrong even though it looks right.
