The Freakin' Green Elf Shorts Make America Great Again!

Yes, the Freakin' Green Elf Shorts are back!

The 29th winner, Janie Junebug, is holding the FGES Caption Competition RIGHT NOW!  So, why don't you pop over to her place and leave a witty/pithy/disgusting caption to be in with a chance of winning the detestable polyestables for yourself and joining the elite few whose nether regions have been where no one has wanted to go before!

A little tease of Janie's FGES photo

And look!  The current FGES Travel Map:

And, yes, I've informed Rimpy, the Official FGES Historian, so we may get an updated Continuing History of the FGES quite soon!

  1. Oh, dear. This again? I am very glad to say the whole FGES phenomenon began before I discovered even Mistress MJ's blog, so I missed all the (ahem) excitement, and have been keeping my head down and out of the way of it ever since... Jx

    1. We should just send them to you before they retire...whenever that may be. Not soon enough I surmise.

    2. Methinks the lady doth protest too much, Jon!

I think the FGES will survive longer than the cockroaches who will inherit our world, Mistress Maddie.

  2. Thanks for letting the world know. I love that your snippet of the photo includes Penelope's cute little butt.

    Love,
    Janie

    1. There was no way I was cropping out all of Penelope. I hope she did "walk on by" and didn't stop for a sniff?!

    2. No dog can resist a sniff of something as vile and stinky as those elf shorts!

  3. I wonder who will be the next sucker to win these? And I wonder where Ms Scarlet has been? I hope the dear is ok. I haven't seen her since I saw her pink bush.

    1. I am curious to see where they end up next. I hope it's somewhere on the map that's not already crowded as I don't want to have to make another so soon.

I have heard from Ms Scarlet - she needs a bit of wind in her sails (and some new sails), and says she'll probably return in the New Year if she doesn't manage to by Christmas.

    2. I'll drop her a line and bring her up to speed. She probably doesn't know I've been across the ditch. Oh, alright...I'll get a blog post up.Maybe today...

  5. Every year when the shorts rear they ugly head, I get very busy in another part of the room until it all passes.

    1. You mean you're so busy in another part of the room thinking up captions that by the time you've come up with the winner, the compo has passed?! Oh, Peenee, I had no idea you wanted the 'Shorts so badly!

    2. I think his winning comment must have ended up in Janie's spam folder.

    1. Oh, here you are again, Madam A! I've just replied in the previous post as I didn't realise at the time that you'd commented here, too.
I must admit, I have been wondering whether to try and win them. You see, I've already had the "pleasure" of wearing the originals - twice! - but I've never worn this current (cloned) pair. And I'm living in a different house than the last time, so maybe?

P.S. I've updated the post with Rimpy's win and the latest version of the FGES Travel Map so you can see where in the world they've been.

  8. I just went to Rimpy's place and then Janie's. I notice Rimpy's hasn't updated the history yet...and does Rimpy even know he WON??!?!? If he doesn't, he will be tickled I'm guessing.

  9. Well, if I was going to be missing something I'm glad it was the polyester abomination that's that flying about the world! A smooth unintended ducking on my part.

    2. Well, I think you'd both look fabulous in the 'Shorts!

Not at the same time, though.

      Unless...
