A Few Shags with Big, Wet Groynes

What to get?  What to get??
Never mind "what to get", how long have we got to get whatever we might be getting?
How long?  I don't know?  How long does it take for something to be mailed to Australia?  Because however long is left, we'll have to take off the postal service time.
Well, when's it got to be in Australia for?
 The twenty-third.
Of November?  So we've got about a month, then.
No! October!  The twenty-third of October!
Hang on...  What's the date today?
I don't know? Let me look at the calendar...

 Shit!  It's today!
 Of course it is...
 Happy birthday, Dinahmow!
Yes, many happy returns!  We hope you're having a fab day.

  2. Sending via Internet is an excellent method to skirt the Australian Postal Regulations against sending highly suggestive materials through the mails!

    Happy Birthday Dinah!

    1. The Australian Postal Service only has those regulations so it can appropriate the highly suggestive materials for its staff!

    1. It's just a shame that the knobs look so small in those preview images on the back cover.

  4. Ah! So that's why Sav and Eros popped up wishing me good things. (I'm still not sure how you knew, but I suspect one of you remembered. And I do thank you. I am honoured. xx

    1. You're very welcome! I think you mentioned it last year at Savvy's (or someone else's, but not at your own blog), so I made a note of it.

    1. Although I can remember birthdays, it's usually way in advance or on the day, never in the couple of days just beforehand which are crucial for getting & posting a card!
When it comes to blog birthdays, (once I find out when they are) I set up a draft post (usually blank except for the title) scheduled for the date in question. Then, a day or two beforehand, I hastily rustle something up in a panic!

    2. Oh that's a very good idea! Now let's see if I can remember to do that?!

    1. Oh, yes, some news that I actually took note of. I am intrigued about this concept, and even if it's not to my taste, it still produced another great "I'm a doctor, not a..." from you!
