Yg----=----..-sD

Even though the Big, Tiresome Work Project has come to an end (see last month's Rutherford post for slightly more details), I'm still finding it difficult to return to blogging.  This is partly because something else has taken its place: the Allotment Drama!  I won't go into all the whys and wherefores now otherwise I'll never finish this post, but I will do at some point soon because at least it'll give me something to blog about.  Some of the other reasons are the same as in this post from a year ago except that I don't have any washing on the go and Ms Scarlet hasn't published a new post, although her current one says it's new..... Scratch that.  In the time it's taken me to compose this, there is a new post!

Anyway, here are a very select few of some things that have been going on here recently:

Saturday 22 February: Sonic Shower Show Rutherford.  Although number four in the series, this is the eighth Rutherford fantasy action figure I've created:

11:04 am, Sunday 16 March: I received this text message from my sister:
Yg----=----..-sD
Turns out my nephew had got hold of her phone and had sent it "on her behalf".  Just to clarify, he's not a toddler - he's 7!  He's perfectly capable of stringing some letters together to make actual words - sentences even - so gods know what's going on here?!

09:30ish, Thursday 20th March: "My" lifeguard instigated a conversation with me!
I had finished my swim and was putting my shoes on in the changing area foyer when he walked through having done his stint in the chair tower thingy.  He said hello with that little smirk that makes me all hot and flustered and then complimented my swimming.  He noticed me!  HE NOTICED ME!  Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! 😍💗💞💓  (Our "conversation" only revolved around swimming and only lasted a couple of minutes or so, but still.)

Today: I am now not far off my forties.  Bah!

I will return later - although more likely tomorrow - to reply to comments in the previous post and to visit you all at your blogs (I have been visiting you all when time has allowed, but aside from a handful of comments, I've been mainly lurking).
