I am nearly ready to come back after my (nearly) two weeks off the blogs. And even after only a brief peruse I discovered no end of "goings on", not least the fact that Ms Scarlet has only gone and won those pesky Freakin' Green Elf Shorts back!
Anyway, back to me. I thought I'd have time to return yesterday, so I popped down to the beach and took these photos from the End-of-the-Line (to get back into the spirit of things), but various things thwarted my return which is why I'm only popping them up now.

So. What can you expect here in the coming week? Well, if we pull our finger out: unsquashable spiders, going before the Gingerbread Board, an anomalous T-shirt, and maybe a tale or two from Spellman's Mortuary.
Until then, happy weekend everyone! I'll be visiting soon!
All spiders Chez Dinahmow are deemed "unsquashable" because we value them as skilled insect control.
ReplyDeleteThat ... and the fact that spiders in Oz are the size of dinner plates!
DeleteThat's true, LẌ.
DeletePerhaps I should have said un"squash"able? All will become clear, soon.
Actually I thought what one finds at the end of the line is Cockfosters.
ReplyDeleteJust saying.
I'm sorry the Gingerbread Board caught up with you. I know they've wanted you banged to rights for some time.
With any luck you'll get banged to rights in Cockfosters.
Why do you think I jorney to the End-of-the-Line so often, Hound?
DeleteAs for the Gingerbread Board, they are little more than a tyrannical, inscrutable, old-school institution intent on making the process of owning a new home a harrowing and humiliating experience. It's no wonder that many witches still live in ramshackle sheds on the verge of collapsing and killing them while they sleep.
Gingerbread board?? And why do you have blue skies? Bet you haven't got blue skies this morning!
ReplyDeleteYAY!!!! I WON, I WON, I WON!!!!!!!
Sx
I don't like to rub it in, but yes, I have actually. Blue skies as far as the eye can see! It is a gorgeous day here. Gorgeous! I think we may get some cloud a bit later on though...
DeleteIt's been pissing it down all day today, and got dark around 3pm. Never mind, Lottery tonight. Jx
DeletePS another day, another sadly eroded groyne...
The End-of-the-Line groyne is the last one for a mile or so, and therefore gets a lot of use...
DeleteStunning shoreline landscape! My fave is definitely the bone white rocks with the small creek running through it. Seagulls...those pests are everywhere! They are the cockroaches of the bird world.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the fantastic seascape fotos! A cold front arrived yesterday, Friday, before dawn, bringing lots of rain and cool temps. It's a nice cool, not chilly yet!
I expect a Texas cold front is very much like a British Summer day?!
