Feem toon*

Today is the fourth anniversary of my arrival in the 21st century, and in The Host. It is also the fourth anniversary of this blog. Now, due to a combination of innate laziness and (when not being lazy) being VERY busy in Castle DeVice with wallpapering and the like, I haven't prepared the post I would have liked to mark this momentous occasion. Instead, you'll have to put up with this one, in which I ask you this:

What would be your theme tune? Either yours personally or your blog's.

After much deliberation - OK, it was the first thing that popped into my head - this is the official theme to Inexplicable DeVice, witch and blog:

Although, I'm hoping for a few more lives after my next untimely demise, in whichever century I may find myself in.

* for SP (if I ever let him read this blog).

  1. I shall ponder this question and come back later.

In the meantime: HAPPY BLOGGY BIRTHDAY you ol' witch!

  2. Happy Bloggerversary!

    And Happy Host sharing-versary!

I don't think I have a theme song, or at least not a constant one. But for today, I'm thinking Basement Jaxx's Do Your Thing fits nicely.

  3. Happy anniversary!

Uh oh. I didn’t bake you a cake.

You KNOW how much I love your vivid imagination and how you deftly weave a tale.

You drift through the years and life seems tame,
Till one dream appears and love is its name.

    *sigh*

    You old romantic, you.

  4. Funny you should mention a feem tune (I'll do it... long as I get to write the theme tune, sing the theme tune...) because Mistress MJ has penciled in “Theme Tune Compo” in her Infomaniac diary. Whereby my bitches would pick a theme tune for Infomaniac. Of course, it was penciled in months ago and we’ve done nothing about it yet as it would require effort on my part. Did you think YOU’D covered the market on laziness?!

In any case, we know you’re chomping at the bit to hear Mistress MJ’s own personal theme tune.

So have a listen to Emmylou Harris singing Born to Run. No it’s NOT the Bruce Springsteen tune.

  5. See that you do, Tim. And, thank you.

And thank you too, Eros. Good toon!

Mini Dennis Waterman: Not to worry about a cake. I'm not so keen on those really light & airy ones you favour...

I never really thought of myselves as romantic until recently. Funny that.

You certainly are ahead of the rest and the best... At posting FILTH! Although, doesn't Born To Run contradict your laziness?

  6. Happy anniversary and may you and SP be celebrating anniversaries long after we all stop blogging (maybe we'll move on to futuristic mind melds).

The theme song for my blog is perhaps Fuck You by Dean and the Weenies

  8. Happy Blogiwhotsitthingy.
Altho I am still sulking about not even getting a walkon in the last story.
    Dont think I have forgotten
    Oh no
I think my theme tune would be Don't stop me now by the unfortunatley named queen . I am sure Soft Cells Sex Dwarf would be a better theme for infomaniac

  11. Great theme song, Snooze. I just hhope you don't take fashion inspiration from Dean and his Weenies?

Ellie: Ah, ridicularity is in the eye of the beholder.

BEAST: A walk on part? Didn't you read it? Most of us had fishy tails - You'd have had a slither on part!

MJ: * hands over an early morning cocktail in reparation *

    Tim: Oooh, good choice!
