GPE #2 : Ms Scarlet's "creepy red and blue plant thing"

M s  S C A R L E T

Am I late?  Apologies, it feels like September still.  I have been snapping away all year - there may have been a lull in proceedings due to the very hot weather.  Anyhow, I include the usual suspects - pink bush; creamy hydrangea, et al.  I also include some new arrivals such as the glorious sunflowers and a very creepy looking plant that bloomed to the side of my conservatory.
I await my prize.

[This appears to be Ms Scarlet's money plant (Crassula ovata), from January ~ IDV]

[Some snowdrops, also from January ~ IDV]

[Heather, from February ~ IDV]

[Primroses from March ~ IDV]

[April bluebells, which look to be of the thuggish Spanish variety (Hyacinthoides hispanica) rather than our more delicate native species (H non-scripta) ~ IDV]

[French lavender from early April ~ IDV]

[Ms Scarlet's garden is replete with not one, but two unruly Big Pink Bushes - this is the lesser BPB which flowered in late April.  The Greater BPB flowered in May, as can be seen in the header image ~ IDV]

[Apple blossom from late April ~ IDV]

[I am not happy with this photo.  Not the plant (thyme?), but that no matter which way I rotate it it always seems to look upside down!  It came the other way up, but I don't think that's right as the lavender and grass were pointing down instead of up - IDV]

[I have forgotten what this big daisy-like plant is called, but this one flowered in May ~ IDV]

[Foxgloves!! (also from May) ~ IDV]

[Violas from June ~ IDV]

[Sunflower from July (which featured in the opening GPE post) ~ IDV]

[Hydrangea from the end of July ~ IDV]

[Echinacea/coneflower also from the end of July ~ IDV]

[Another lovely sunflower (end of July again) ~ IDV]

Creepy red and blue plant thing [Apple keeps telling me it's a Pineapple - yay for AI!] has been there forever - planted by the previous occupants, but this is the first time I've seen the little blue flowers in the centre.  Amazing what a hot summer can do!
I'm not keen on the bromeliad, it looks rather creepy due to the colours. It looks like a huge red spider swallowing a bunch of Forget-me-nots.
[Apparently, it's a crimson bromeliad (Fascicularia bicolor), and this photo was taken in October according to the date stamp ~ IDV]

Please note: Ms Scarlet is never late - dates and times are rescheduled around her as if by magic!  Prizes, on the other hand...

Anyway, thank you for the tour of your garden, Ms Scarlet.
