It certainly has been a rather miserable year so far, weather wise. I'm sorry that you are getting even MORE rain, Ms Scarlet. Is there anything left in Devon, or has it all been washed away?
Well, Cornwall are still clearing up after the last named storm, and some of Devon/Dorset has fallen into the sea. Also, the roads are all crumbling away and they can't be repaired properly because it won't stop raining. Truly horrible here. Sx
Against my better judgment, I looked at the BBC news this morning - I tried to stay away from all the political stuff which pretty much only left the weather and climate horrors. I saw that some of the Jurassic Coast is collapsing, and the rail line through Dawlish was closed again due to storm damage :(
We were only supposed to get a bit of sleet, but I see there's a yellow warning for snow across the east of England now. It's supposed to warm up and clear away later this afternoon, but we'll see...
Nooooooooo!!! It's just this very moment started lashing down with rain [again]. I have the lights on as it's so flipping dark!!

DeletePissing-down here in London, too - there may be some sleet involved, but thankfully no snow... Jx

DeleteBetter than this aweful greyness, like a deadly blanket : Grey sky, grey earth, grey fields, grey all.
