... Freaks"
- Haute & Freddy
"Tectonic Plates" - Dubstar
"Thrill Of The Night" - Sébastien Tellier (feat. Slayyyter & Nile Rodgers)
(Bits of this one remind me of Alcazar's "Tears of a Clone". Kind of.)
"Mystical Magical" - Benson Boone
"Deeper Shade of Blue" (Steps 25 Revisited Mix) - Steps
Yes, I'm still listening to this - and watching the video (Ahhh, Lee... 😍)
"Love U More" - Sunscreem
This has been a Tunes on Tuesday production.
Oh, just in case anyone is expecting an end-of-year-round-up at the end of the year (Savvy's birthday allowing, of course), don't get your hopes up as I have been even more slack than last year (you'll hardly be surprised to hear).
I think I heard some sighs of relief?
Hmmm...
P.S. Remember that the Freakin' Green Elf Shorts Caption Competition is now on at Rimpy's, so get yourselves over there and leave a caption to be in with a chance of winning the FGES. You know you want to!

All of 'em fabulous (with the possible exception of Mr Boone, who leaves me a bit cold). So pleased that Haute and Freddy are such a hit round the Hexenhausli - they were one of "the" discoveries of 2025, methinks! And Monsieur Teller's come a long way since he was France's Eurovision entry back in 2008, hasn't he?

For a moment I thought you might be (unlikely!) referring to '50s Pat Boone.
DeleteYou mean the "lovely" Pat Boone who said “homosexual activists” were just like the jihidists who carried out the attacks of September 11th, only more dangerous? I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire. Jx
DeleteYep.
DeleteThat's why I thought it unlikely.
Oh, I like the Haute and Freddie! I like the Tellier! I like the Boone! Steps - bless!! Sunscreen is jolly too! I think we pick up on a similar riff?
ReplyDeleteThank you Tunes on Tuesday!
I will also be doing an extraordinarily concise end of year review.
Sx
Fun music! Good for putting on play and cleaning this messy room I find myself in!
ReplyDeleteI see in your description that "We" have expanded to four here in the house of Hexenhausli. I've recently woven myself into a mutualistic relationship with a Millennial woman. She was already referring to herself as "we" before we clicked like magnets in a moment of zeitgeist the instant I walked in the door. By supporting her we can help many people. I work in the basement by myself among boxes and boxes of donations that need to be sorted and labelled and sent off to the houses for children and young adults in need. I love it! It's a warm and cozy hobbit hole to do some good. Only one other person knows I'm there regularly now. He's a bit skittish. He wants to trust me, but I literally did come out of nowhere, so the hesitation is understandable. Hahaha
All very jolly but nothing could ever top 'Steps' and this is one of their best.
ReplyDeleteI listen and watch them a lot.
