Emboldened by snuffing the life out of Raspberry the rat, Bitey has embarked on a killing spree. First, that unfortunate sea gull last week. Then yesterday evening a peasant* pheasant!
* Well, peasants aren't really people, are they. There are always more where they came from, anyway.
(Good old YT captions!)
Original concept by Mistress Maddie.

Jeez! Bitey is a fearless hunter, isn't he? Jx
ReplyDeleteHe will be staying on the lead for a little while now, the little monster!
DeleteHe could be well-employed up at Westminster!
ReplyDeleteOnly on the days the cats have off!
DeleteI think Bitey needs a bell (except when it comes to rats).
ReplyDeleteSomething the size of Big Ben ought to do it!
DeleteTerriers, eh????!!! He's even cuter!
ReplyDeleteSx
Don't encourage him, Ms Scarlet!
DeleteOMG!!!!!! And I just LOVE how he nonchalantly comes prancing down the path, and around the bend pleased as punch with his kill!!!!
ReplyDeleteNow. Your tall. Blonde, I think? And that accent. You have me swooning.........
Meanwhile, whilst beachside I've no reports of Sophie. Also...does this mean you had a pheasant dinner that night?
DeleteI must admit, I did find his little eyes peering over the top of that pheasant quite endearing. There was no pheasant dinner - I led Bitey to the allotment (as I couldn't get anywhere near him while he had his "prize") where he looked around for somewhere to bury it. Eventually he settled on the bonfire patch which is where that pheasant is right now (unless something has made off with it - fingers crossed!).
DeleteAs for me, tall? Yes. Blond? Very silver. Accent? Oh, dear... Well, I was only really talking to myself.
Silver? Now you're just teasing me and trying to get me hot.
DeleteDifferent ways to prepare a Fasan ... the Austrians put a "Speckmantel" around the little birdy, while the Poles throw on it their unavoidable Sauerkraut In the end I'd treat it like a chicken.
ReplyDeleteHave you got some interesting feathers from the bird ?
I've only eaten pheasant once - I wasn't impressed. Perhaps bacon would have made it better?
DeleteNo, I didn't collect any feathers - although there are plenty blowing around the allotment!
