Phoenix!

Oh.  Er.  Sorry.  I meant: Cormorant!

Here are the other photos from this morning's Bitey walk (early while it was still relatively cool), and a little slow tempo music (as someone found Friday's too fast...)

 That is all.

    1. Through every nook and every cranny
The wind blew in on poor old Granny
Around her knees, into each ear
(And up nose as well, I fear)

All through the night the wind grew worse
It nearly made the vicar curse
The top had fallen off the steeple
Just missing him (and other people)

It blew on man, it blew on beast
It blew on nun, it blew on priest
It blew the wig off Auntie Fanny-
But most of all, it blew on Granny!

  2. Looks like a Phoenix to me. They only burn when they eat curry.

    1. Well, I wish they wouldn't - the sulphurous fumes are enough to make one's eyes water!

      P. S. Welcome, Kyknoord!

  3. A Shag??? For me????!!! And less rushing. With this Shag you are spoiling me, Mr Devine!
Apologies for my lateness - I will write a post and explain - soonish.

  4. Between this post and your last I am so jealous you have such a beautiful beach from your house! At least you have the courtesy to share it with us in pictures. I never get tired of these pictures. It makes me want to stand there myself someday.

I wonder how much of England I could see in a day. I live in one of those states where its normal to drive at least a half hour to get anywhere. They are trying to redesign cities to be "The 15-minute city" but you have to move to an apartment that few can afford and the rest of us are left fighting over fewer parking spots.

    1. I wouldn't get your hopes up to see very much of England in a day. The travel infrastructure is pretty terrible outside London and the central cities - there's barely even a main road out to where I live on the East coast! It's probably the same in Ms Scarlet's neck of the woods on the opposite side of the country.
