Or, Run Away Like An Egyptian, perhaps?
This looks dreadful, but Brenton Thwaites is in it, so I shall simply have to see it. I just hope the visual effects aren't finished yet, as those in this trailer look a little ropey.
Oh, dear...

This, on the other hand, is marvellous! I saw it with The Mother on Sunday:
Oh! I am dying for the Maggie Smith one to reach this outpost of empire (and by that, I mean 2 days' travel north of our major cities [3 if you count Melbourne])
ReplyDeleteThe Romans sacking Egypt? Only when then can reincarnate Richard Burton.
Yikes! Sandworms!
ReplyDeleteAh, I've been wondering how to learn more about the Egyptian gods - thank you for pointing me in the right direction! I'm a little discombobulated by the reference to a van for the lady in the trailer.
ReplyDeleteoh dear is right.
ReplyDeleteDelicious though Mr "is-he-isn't-he? Thwaites may be, I shan't be going to see "Gods of Egypt". Maggie Smith, on the other hand, may not look so enticing topless, but I think "The Lady in the Van" may well be essential viewing... Jx
ReplyDeleteFrom The Dowager Countess of Grantham to The Lady in the Van. Quite a range.
ReplyDeleteI'm sold.
"Maggie Smith" a must see in anything...
ReplyDeleteParticularly as the Mother Superior in Sister Act (which I watched yesterday)!
