Awww...the Bush thing was a charity programme wasn't it? Oh yes, Comic Relief - they all look so young! I wonder if Mr Fielding can still do a cartwheel - I know I can't. I will be streaming Dick from March 1st!! What a cast! Thank you for the heads up, Mr Devine. Sxx
I don't know, it could be fun. I don't have Apple TV so who knows if I'll ever get a chance to give it a try. It's so disappointing when the best part of a movie or show is the trailer. This sems to happen more often in comedies.
BTW at your suggestion I'm reading Terry Practhett's Small Gods and am almost finished. It's amusing and short! A nice break from all the serious NF reading I do! Which one should I try next?
I saw Terry Pratchett in bookstore once! I was like "Oh wow! There's Terry Pratchett!" and then I left because what was I supposed to do? Go up to the man and say, "Oh hello, I've never ready any of your books, but I know who you are." That just seems rude. Like the- if you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say anything at all - advice.
Oh I do like Dick. The TV series looks interesting and very camp we might give it a go. We live near 'Turnpike Lane' which was the location where Dick jumped the turnpike on his famous escape to York.
I hope I can fit him in, I'm currently watching Prisoner Cell Block H from the very beginning on My 5 and I'm starting to take on the personality of Erica Davidson which is slightly disturbing, I could do with a bit of Dick to snap out of it. I'll let my maid of all work Carmen know, when she gets out of solitary.
I'm beginning to think you slipped on your beans right into a pocket dimension! Come back! I can only hope you're out bumping into nice lads out in the gardens of East Anglia or your local, what do you call it? Allotment. Yes.
I always thought of him as a bit of a Dick. Jx
ReplyDeleteI'd love a bit of his Dick.
DeleteAnother documentary ?
ReplyDeleteNope.Didn't think much of the Bush version either.
ReplyDeleteAll the more for me, then!
