These photos might be from Saturday, but despite the imminent Bank Holiday weekend here in Blighty, the weather is set for more of the same (with the possible exception of this Saturday). And with the added extra of warmth, if not actual heat! Strange Things Happen:
Thank you Alison Goldfrapp, for "We're running out of clouds, staring at blue again". It's as if she knew.
And speaking of strange things happening:
News From Norfolk:
This is not just any animal rescue, this is an M&S animal rescue
Hillside Animal Sanctuary was called out to Marks & Spencer on Rampant Horse Street in
Norwich after staff found a muntjac stuck within the glass barrier of a
ground-floor escalator.

It's about time we had our May back! It's been more like October here for ages.
ReplyDeleteI read that article a while back, and immediately thought: "Normal for Norfolk". Jx
PS Who did you bribe/give sexual favours to/beat up to get your blog post published so quickly?! I published one yesterday afternoon and another today, and neither has yet turned up in the Reading List...
Today has been more like July! I hope that the October to March throwback weather has finally ended, now.
DeleteAs for the deer in M&S, while I've seen muntjac in the city, I always thought they'd shop at Primark as they're so common. This one clearly had ideas above her station and look where it got her!
The reading list fiasco is bamboozling. I noticed that it had left you out while including others, including me. I might have narrowed my eyes in displeasure, but no money, bodily fluids, or violence was required. This time.
One minute I can’t go out without my big coat and gloves, the next I’m in a T-Shirt. It’s bizarre, but yay, finally some warm weather!! Have a lovely weekend!

Thank you Ms Scarlet! I trust today's T-shirt weather in Devon?
DeleteWe've had glorious weather all week, if a tad chilly. And it looks like grey skies and showers for the weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh, dear. That's where our usual Bank Holiday weather has gone!
DeleteI work as a massage therapist in Logan. I am generally excited to be in office helping patients. But, when I see a clear blue sky, I can't help but feel the NEED to be outside for a few hours. Good thing I get a lunchbreak.
ReplyDeletePerhaps some outdoor sessions are in order?
Deletegreat idea.
DeleteOh, that poor muntjac!
ReplyDeleteAnd to make matters worse, M&S didn't have knickers that fit it, anyway! A wasted trip.
DeleteOnce again, fires in various locations around Southern California have caused grey overcast skies and poor air quality! While the skies are cloudy, the temps have been on the hotter side for this time of year. I've been stuck inside with the AC on because I'm one of those people "who are unusually sensitive to ozone or particle pollution (and) may experience respiratory symptoms." It's a bitch, sweetpea! xoxo
ReplyDeleteIt really does sound like a bitch, dear Savvy. I hope it clears for you soon x
