Sounds of the Sea (and Swearing)

"Please make more audios of the sea!!!" Ms Scarlet instructed in no uncertain terms.
Your wish is my command! (I'm sorry about the birdsong.  I know you didn't request it, so I hope it doesn't detract from the sounds of the waves lapping gently at the shore.)

7:37 am, Overstrand beach.  Yes, that's Bitey having a paddle.

Approaching the End-of-the-Line

Cormorant!

Beyond the End-of-the-Line

Bitey didn't want to go any further so we turned back and headed home.

I stopped to get another video of the sounds of the sea, but Bitey wasn't having it and jumped up getting me all wet hence the mild - and muffled - swearing:

  1. Awwwwww!!! Thank you!!! I could listen to the top audio all day - so relaxing.
You think you have problems with Bitey - Barney nearly took my finger off last week whilst playing with a pull toy. I screamed, but didn't swear! Which is a first.
I think we'd all like to live next door to you, Mr Devine.

    1. Did Barney immediately let go and look ashamed, or go for the rest of your fingers in the hopes of hearing some expletives?

Don't think living next door to me would be as relaxing as listening to the sea, Ms Scarlet. You will hear lots of barking when a deer/squirrel/cat goes by, and then lots of shouting - and some swearing - when Bitey doesn't shut up!

    2. I know I would!!!!! I'd be very neighborly.

And our pups could go off and murder things.

  2. Is this one of those "relaxation therapy" sessions? I'd prefer more videos with swearing in them! Jx

    1. You're in luck, Jon. I have a video from yesterday evening with a 'Christ' and a 'Hell' in it. And also a dead body.

    2. Did Bitey get a muntjac deer this time? I'm intrigued. Jx

    3. Thankfully not. Although, there was a dead one on the main road this morning. Looks like it had been hit by a car during the night. Bitey was VERY interested, though.
All is revealed in the next post!

  3. Well, it's much better than those dreadful "relaxation" tapes that were popular a few years ago.

  4. I love where I live now but I sure do miss waking up to the sounds of the sea. My favorite sound.

    1. It is rather lovely, isn't it. Although it's easily ruined by the sounds of shrieking kids and/or sea gulls!
