Vos Grace*

It's been a lovely sunny - if a bit cold - day here, so this morning I took Bitey down to the beach for a walk.  We came down the cliff just before the east slope and slipway and made our way west.
(That's Trimingham sticking out into the sea on the horizon in the photo above; and the view north-northwest from halfway down the cliff, below.)

No, we're going the other way, Bitey!

Everyone loves looking at a big groyne and its reflection, don't they?

The beach huts have made it through the winter storms unscathed.  So far...

Mind the gap.

From a distance the sea spray looks like mist.

While I was taking this photo, Bitey found a dead sea bird and wouldn't let me anywhere near him to remove it from his mouth...

... so I kept walking while he followed at a safe distance.
(After a lot of feinting this way and that, doubling back, and feigning disinterest, I eventually managed to get the horrid bird out of Bitey's mouth half way up the main slope.)

Vos Grace (last seen here - with Vos Gorgeous, rather vexingly)

 * Because Vos Gorgeous is in Aber-bloody-deen!

  1. Awful to have a bit missing from your groyne...

It's been a lovely day here in London, too (and I have made the most of it, pottering) - but obviously the views from Dolores Delargo Towers are not quite as dramatic as yours!

    Jx

PS I wonder if Pedigree Chum's next new flavour will be "half-rotted sea-bird"?

    1. "My" groyne is not in good shape - rather battered and worn...

I suspect "half-rotted sea-bird" flavour will be a best seller!

  2. Oh I do enjoy seeing your Groinage.
Fab photos you really have a talent. Beach huts all in a row in the clashing colours are always a joy to me especially out of season without people.
Please keep us posted on the whereabouts of Gorgeous.

    1. Thank you, Madam A! I find it easy to take good photos because I don't really have to think about anything - the surroundings here do all the heavy lifting. (I'm very fortunate to live here.)

Tickle my fancy, why don't you?
