Glass Starships

Ms Scarlet made an island with hers. I made glass starships:

There.

P.S. It took me ten months to gather up enough sea glass to make these since sending the previous collection to Ms Scarlet.  (There are a few more bigger, more wonky bits just out of shot...)

    2. I made these at the beginning of October during a moment of procrastination when, yes, Star Trek was on my mind. I can't remember what I was supposed to be doing. I wonder if it got done?

  2. Love seeing sea glass. Takes me back to Nantasket in the 60s.

    1. Thank goodness. I was worried they reminded you of the anal beads you bought at the seaside one year.

    2. Did you find lots of different colours, Norma? I can only seem to find clear white and those pale turquoise bits, but I know there are brown, green and blue down here as a couple of neighbours have piced some up.

I hope the pieeces that made up the anal beads were well worn with no sharp edges left?!

  3. I love the colors! I had a necklace made from sea glass back in the day. I wonder what happened to it? xoxo

    1. Perhaps it found its way back to the sea, Savvy?

  4. I am eyeing the new sea glass collection and fluttering my eyelashes in a come hither way - which is silly of me, and possibly ineffective.
Awww.... isn't it fun though, to play with the sea glass?! So pretty.

    1. There is almost enough to fill a Ferrero Rocher box (one of those 16 pack ones - two rows of four on two levels). Perhaps when it's full, any more I find will be sent off through the post to a new home?
Although, I could always buy another box of Rocher...

  5. I never thought I'd say the words "beautiful" and "Star Trek" in the same sentence.

    1. I must mark this momentous occasion somehow! A sketch of Captain Mistress aboard the bridge of her Starship, Infomaniac, perhaps?

    1. Oh, I did, thank you Mistress Maddie. My in-box hasn't been so full in quite a while!
Well, since Jon deposited his load, anyway...
