Good Evening, Starshine

 Well, another Samhain has passed.

We hope you all had a wonderful Hallowe'en, and are ready for the latter half of Autumn?

Sunset at Cromer Lighthouse yesterday - Samhain begins here!

With the setting of the sun today, Samhain comes to an end for another year.

Good night!

  1. Beautiful photos. And amazing that you found such high ground in Norfolk to take them from... Jx

    1. Ooh, Jon! You startled me! And as such, I haven't the wits about me to reply properly, so I'll have to recycle a comment from a couple of posts back:

"While most of Norfolk is as flat as the proverbial pancake, here at the leading edge, we rather enjoy our lofty perch which enables us to lord it over the riff raff!"

PS throw the riff-raff a bread roll from me...

  2. Someone said that to me not long ago... By the way, isn't this Fry Country? My kin are down around Swaffham and Fakenham.Well, there's Sandringham up the road, but we don't mix with them.

    1. "Dierdre Chambers! What a coincidence!" - Well, recycling is the in thing, isn't it?

Fry Country, indeed. Plus, without Cromer, you wouldn't have your Dyson (if you have a Dyson, that is). And Sandringham's got a bit "Rah!" ever since Lady Di came to prominence - I hope your family steer clear?

    2. Well, I haven't heard from Cousin P in years. But they did take me for a drive up past Sandringham which wasn't terribly exciting as it was all locked up while they got it ready for a Christmas wing-ding.

  4. I tell you, your on a roll with these beautiful photos. I must admit to being just a bit sad now that Halloween is over, but at least we have the rest of Samhain to look forward too. And a bit of advice, DON'T buy the fruits MJ is selling at her roadside stand.

  6. How Freudian can you get? This post is just an excuse to go, 'I've got a great big prominence'! It anyway doesn't compare to the view of rent boys I get. Nature, indeed...

  7. Lovely sunset...
BTW... Have been watching Agatha Christies "Partners in Crime" on the telly and guess what... Cromer popped up on the screen just this week... well a replica of the army base there in the late 40's.... And of course it's a cliff hanger!
